First things first, the food. Here are a few things I'll be bringing to the party this weekend...
Taco Bites - I've mentioned these before on the blog and I'll probably always mention them as a Super Bowl treat because they're a hit! Ryan loves tacos so it's a fun way to make them with a twist. Totally simple too... wonton wrappers baked individually in a muffin tin for approx. 8 minutes or until they're crispy, filled with your favorite taco meat. I'm going traditional and filling with taco seasoned ground beef but you could go healthy and make this with ground turkey or even chicken. I'll top them with cheese and bake an extra minute or two to let the cheese melt. After that, everyone can choose from the toppings bar and add what they want... guac, salsa, sour cream, tomatoes, lettuce... the options are endless!
And because I'm trying to stay healthy on a day where I could very easily slip off track, I'm going to be that girl and bring a separate treat that's for me and only me. I've been drooling ever since southerngirlgetsfit posted this skinny version of chicken nachos on Instagram the other day... I can't wait to try them!
So we've got the game, we've got the food, the only other important detail is the commercials! The kids don't really get into the commercials like the adults do unless you have this fun game for them to play! Super Bowl Commercials BINGO. Each kid gets a BINGO card with different commercials filled in the squares... the first kid to fill up their whole card wins a prize. You don't need to get all fancy with your prizes either, just have some fun with it. This is what the winner will be getting at our Super Bowl party...
Nothing fancy, just fun! And you know the suspense of what's in that shiny red bag will have them all dying to win as they fill in their squares!

Enjoy your Super Bowl festivities this weekend... I know we will
