Ryan wrapped up his soccer season this weekend... bitter sweet. This was a great team full of talented athletes and the parents were so much fun. That part I'll miss. But I'm ready for things to settle down a bit and by "settle down a bit" I know that it won't really settle down at all, but it's a good thought. Mama just needs a little break from running in 800 different directions every single day. Gymnastics and tumbling just ended for Emily too so I'm going to enjoy the little bit of a lull while I can.
The other piece to my weekend was these clowns...
If you enjoy baseball then you already know how the weekend went... if you don't already know then you probably don't enjoy baseball so I won't bother you with the details. But I will say two things... by the end of these games I am so completely worn out and physically exhausted... absolutely drained. I think I love my team a little too much. I also love the game of baseball, so despite these games wreaking havoc on my nerves, as a fan of the game I couldn't be more happy to see such a battle to the finish. It's the end of the season... these boys have been playing baseball since February. They're tired, they're worn down, they're banged up... and these two teams are leaving every.single.thing. they have out on the field each night. It's pretty fun to watch!
I've also been doing a lot of screaming and hollering that makes my kids jump three feet every time there's an exciting play... can't help it, I get excited... and that's nothing new, they should be used to it by now! Ryan even told me to "calm down" during an exciting moment of the game the other day. Needless to say that conversation didn't end well for him!
That's about it for this
