You know what I hate about these big sporting events? I love sports, that's no secret. I also have a lot of girl friends who sincerely love sports too. These big games though? They bring out the biggest fake-fans ever. I know millions of people tune in and enjoy it, regardless if they're big fans or not and that's totally fine. What drives me mad are the girls posting on Facebook, girls who can't even spell football, how proud and emotional they are that their team won. Really girls? Tell me what a 1st down is and then I'll give you the right to cry those tears of joy.

Still on the topic of the Super Bowl, can we talk about halftime for a second? I'm sure I'm the only one in the free world who feels like this but I was so underwhelmed with Beyonce's performance last night! We know the girl can sing and we know the girl can dance... I was just not impressed last night at all.

Emily had her first cheering competition this weekend and it was just the cutest thing! I volunteered at the concession stand all morning while Emily and her team were in the warm-up gym, rehearsing their routine and being together as a team. They did great!!

I have been on the hunt for a pair of nude heels for the longest time but haven't been able to find any I like until yesterday. I found these bad boys at Kohl's, they're from the Vera Wang collection, and they were in the clearance section. Normally $70 and I paid a whopping $5.94 for them... I was pretty excited and am pretty much in love with them...

Last but certainly not least, it's hard to not be excited about today being Monday because it's officially GRAMMY week! I got my agenda over the weekend with the different events that I'll be attending and I absolutely can not wait! I just need to pack and get my butt on a plane early Thursday morning and the fun will begin!

Hope everyone had a great weekend!

YAY Grammy week - I am so pumped. AND those nude heels are killer. Happy Monday Erin girl.
Oh my gosh! How cute is that little cheerleading outfit??? Superbowl was pretty amazing (especially since Ravens are my local team!).
(I'm already a follower of yours from the link-ups but got sent from Going with the Flow :P)
I am loving those heels. I can't wait to hear all about your Grammy trip!
Love them heels and your little girl looks so cute!
your little girl is so sweet! a girl after my own heart...I'm a former cheerleader and wish I could still rock that uniform! lol. I was not impressed with beyonce either! I love her....but she didn't do much for me last night! It would have been great if destinys child would have pulled out some "say my name" or something!
I was underwhelmed by Beyonce Too! I felt like the only one until I read your blog.
I wasn't impressed with Beyonce either. Or the commercials. I was rooting for the Ravens and I think it's the first time in like 5 years the team I was cheering for won!
Your little girl is adorable.
Love those shoes. Going straight to Kohls today. Anyhow, I am so excited that you get in on that Grammy action. I saw a commercial last night and thought "YAY for Erin!"
Basically...I love this entire post! I'll admit..I don't know everything about football, but I'm definitely not one of those girls you're talking about who try and act like it! I like football, but mainly for the beer and food if I'm being honest! I was so underwhelmed by Beyonce too!
First of all i am so jealous of your shoes!! Shopping blows her ein Oklahoma!
Secondly AMAEN to fake sports fans!!!!!
Ughhhh I wanted to stab several of my facebook "friends" from high school and what not with their Oh I a def a ravens fan. SHUT UP already. I proudly atched the game in my chiefs jersey knowing full well if we ever get into the super bowl i will more than likely be dead. but honey badger dont care! Go chiefs!
I wasn't a fan of Beyonce either. I think the only thing that could have saved her performance is if JT and Andy Sandberg did Single ladies with her. How amazing would that have been?
Don't even get me started on fake sports fans. Makes me crazy. Yes, I watch SportsCenter daily. Yes, I know the rules of most sports. Duh people, my husband is a recovering sports writer. You can't fake it until you make it with me.
Also, how cute is your little cheerleader!
And last but not least, I can't wait to hear about the grammy's! I am so excited for you!!!!
I've tried and tried and tried to get into football and I just can't. Snow I went snowboarding last night instead of watching the game and pretending I knew what was going on. :)
Also, some disbelief: You got those shoes for less than $6?? You get to go to the Grammys??
Super jealous of those heels!! Going to the Kohls website as I type and looking for some good deals!!!
I am SO JEALOUS you found those shoes for so cheap! I have been searching for some- but they are all either too uncomfortable or too expensive. Maybe I will make a trek to my Kohls! :)
PS- I'm here from Going with the flow!
oh fakey sports fans are the WORST!!!
Emily looks so stinking cute! I really hope Breanna wants to cheer!
um those shoes...KILLER! I wish I could wear heels
I am so excited for you and the Grammys!
OMG! Only in America can you find $70 name brand shoes for that cheap!!! I'm so jealous! They are gorgeous....
